烘干：此方法可以解决大部分问题，国内使用的木材通过此方法即可达到目的，但特殊的用途比如密封包装，仓库湿度大，出口时在海上湿热环境等等情况下就不管用了。
熏蒸：此方法主要是针对出口的木质包装进行杀虫，而且有效期比较短。很多朋友误以为是防霉，其实它对霉菌的防治一点效果都没有的。
热处理：要有专门的设备，而且处理成本高,可以降低木材中水份含量，但不能解决根本问题。
防霉：使用专业的竹木防霉剂处理，可以采用快速浸泡或者喷涂等方式，既方便也节约成本，一般以1%-2%配比与水兑在一起。即使干燥木材如果不进行防霉处理的话照样发霉，防霉后的木材即使是潮湿的也有很好的防霉效果。
涂刷油漆或光油：可在油漆或者光油内添加一定比例的油性防霉剂，彻底抑制霉菌的生长。
